What am I buying?
The domain name only, unless something else is agreed in writing. A domain purchase does not include a website, hosting, email accounts, a business or trademark rights.
How do I buy a domain?
Open its listing and follow the GoDaddy UK link to check the current marketplace price and availability. You can also send DomainMatch an enquiry or offer using the listing’s form. We confirm any direct purchase arrangements in writing.
Why might the checkout price differ?
DomainMatch shows an asking price or a last recorded marketplace price in GBP. Prices, availability, fees and taxes can change. The marketplace’s confirmed checkout total takes precedence; ask us if something is unclear before paying.
Can I make an offer?
Yes. Use the enquiry form on the domain’s page. Submitting an offer does not reserve the name or create an accepted sale; price and terms must be agreed first.
How is the domain transferred?
A marketplace purchase follows that marketplace’s transfer process. For a direct purchase, payment and transfer steps are agreed in writing before you proceed. Keep access to your registrar account and follow the instructions for the specific transaction.
How long does a transfer take?
Timing depends on the registrar, registry requirements and purchase route. Confirm the expected timetable for your specific domain before buying; we do not promise a fixed transfer time on every listing.
Will there be ongoing costs?
Your registrar charges domain renewal fees. Hosting, email and other services have their own costs if you choose them. Ask about renewal pricing and any transfer charges before completing a purchase.
Does buying a domain give me trademark rights?
No. Check that your intended name and use do not conflict with existing rights. Our domain listings and naming packages do not include legal trademark clearance.
Do I need to sign in to enquire or compare domains?
No. Browsing, comparing up to three domains and sending an enquiry are available without sign-in. The private owner dashboard requires the owner’s ChatGPT account.
Can you help with domains, email, websites and branding?
Yes. Our domain-finder enquiry is free. We offer professional business email setup, researched business naming, a brand starter kit, a brochure website and optional website care. Choose individual services or discuss a complete launch package. Domain purchases, email subscriptions and hosting are priced separately. You agree the final quote and scope before paid work starts.
Can DomainMatch sell my domain?
Submit a domain you own through Sell Your Domain. Our broker fee is 15% of the final sale price, minimum £100, payable after cleared payment and completed transfer. No sale, no broker fee. Any applicable VAT and external charges are agreed before promotion.
